Taking the Stage at EARGHSS 2026
Conversations about the future of healthcare in Africa are becoming more urgent and more practical.
At the Eastern Africa Regional Global Health Security Summit (EARGHSS) in Nairobi, we joined policymakers, manufacturers, and health leaders focused on strengthening health systems across the region.
A key moment for us was our CEO, Nihal Shah, addressing the audience on the realities facing local pharmaceutical manufacturers.
He spoke candidly about the challenges companies like ours navigate every day, including regulatory delays, policy gaps, and the financial demands of building production capacity locally. He emphasized that strengthening local manufacturing requires clear policies, efficient systems, and coordinated national action.
He also highlighted the broader impact of domestic production: creating jobs, building technical expertise, stabilizing supply chains, and contributing to economic growth.
Participating in EARGHSS allowed us to contribute directly to these discussions and reaffirm our commitment to building sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing within the region.
